Yahoo meets the B-2 Bomber
by Sapphire (September 12, 2006)
As some of you will recall, I started a blog just for fun over a year ago (which I nicknamed the “B-2 Bomber” for the purposes of discussing anonymously on here), on a topic that interested me, and to my surprise it took off. During that time, the vast majority of my search engine traffic has been coming from Google. Finally, I’m making a leap in Yahoo: so far, this month, I’ve gotten more searches than I got from them in all of last month.
MSN, AskJeeves and all those guys are still not delivering as much. I’ve noticed MSN and Yahoo are the ones who will give a thin but decent affiliate site some searches while Google holds back, but the situation seems to reverse itself when you’re talking original content sites.
The B-2 Bomber’s stats improve every month, and I’m hoping for 10,000 uniques per month by the end of this year.
