What’s shakin’?

I decided I needed to write some kind of an update here, but when I thought about what to say, I got stuck: there’s stuff going on, but nothing’s finished enough, or established enough, to be worth reporting.

So I’m going to report that I’m getting a new laptop soon. It’s a Dell, with a duo processor, a gig of memory, a really nice screen and some other features I think will make it last me a while. I’ve got about a week to wait for it, and I’m really excited. It should be considerably faster than the computer I’ve had for a while now. There’s a cafe near my home that offers free wifi access - I may have to take this baby down there and work on my sites in style.

As bad as some things are in the world, sometimes I look at developments like the internet and think: “That’s just what I dreamed of when I was a kid.”

As for everything else, my offline life is crazy busy right now. I’m still not sure how I’m doing with BurstMedia because I can’t figure out how to read the stats. My numbers do seem to be slowly building, so at least I think I’m heading in the right direction. I still haven’t heard from CrispAds. I’m behind on updating my sites and writing articles for article directories, because I ended up having to reconstruct one of my directories last week. I think I’ll get caught up when the new computer arrives, though - it’ll inspire me to work.
