Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin for WordPress

by Sapphire (September 29, 2006)

This is probably something I was the last to know, but if you use WordPress and you haven’t discovered the joys of UltimateTagWarrior, I highly recommend it.  I’ve used Technorati tagging plugins in the past, and then I found I was getting equal traffic whether I bothered with them or not, so I stopped.  But today I was looking for a way to tag posts internally - like LiveJournal, where clicking someone’s tag takes you to all their other posts with that tag.  I could’ve just used categories, but I wanted a separate system.

UTW does this - and it’s so easy, you don’t even have to do anything to your template.  It has an Options page where you just set it how you like it, and bam - tremendously easy.  You can also configure it to work with not just Technorati, but several tagging systems, including Flickr, delicious and WikiPedia.

I may have to try this thing out on some of my other sites.
