After an ugly bout of stomach flu or virus, I’m back and posting again.
AdBrite has redeemed themselves after being difficult to contact a couple of weeks ago. A few days ago, I called them about a new issue - a naughty ad that had somehow slipped onto my site - and they resolved the problem while we were on the phone. They also assured me that if I object to a specific ad that they do not consider “unclean”, they have a way of keeping that ad off my site, just for me.
This is the main reason I keep working with AdBrite. With other services, I keep getting ads for avoiding child support or getting laid or warez, and I can find no way to keep them off. AdBrite has a level setting that gives you control: low for clean ads, medium for Viagra and gambling, and high for adult and anything goes.
