The CSS Menu solution

by Sapphire (January 30, 2005)

I’ve been looking for a really nice, clean way to do nested lists - you know, those menus that pop out boxes of submenus as you hover - and every solution I’ve found involves yucky stuff. Chunks of horse-choking un-searchengine-friendly Javascript, php with security issues, etc.

Nick Rigby has the solution. How’d I miss this? I’ve been to AListApart since June, when the article was written. I’ve looked for CSS ideas, because that is one of the best sites on the web to find them.

I guess a day late and a dollar short’s still better than never showing up at all? If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to go revamp all my sites now. Cheers!
