The continuing saga of Project Mai Tai

Google still refuses to index Project Mai Tai. Oh, somehow, I got one search via GoogleUK or something, but the site is not in the “google.com” index at all.

But it’s got a PR 4. So, yeah, that makes sense.

There’s been another slight change. All along, Google Webmaster Tools has been reporting huge numbers of pages that it couldn’t find. When I checked their URL’s I had no idea where they were coming from. It should never have been looking for those pages in the first place, because at no point had they ever existed. But recently, the “not found” number has been falling, and now we’re down to just one page. Could that be the magic thing that’s keeping the site from being indexed?

One can hope. I have literally done everything possible. I will never, ever again buy a domain that has ever been owned before. That’s the only thing I can come up with to explain this treatment from Google.
