September stats

by Sapphire (October 2, 2007)

I had a record month in September - $424. The biggest chunk of that was BlogHer.

My TLA and LinkWorth earnings have stayed almost exactly the same for a couple of months now. Actual affiliate marketing sales remain, as usual, dismal but at least I had one last month. PPC type ads are bringing in around $7/month. SEDO is almost exactly paying for the two domains I put on it, and I’ve added a third.

LOL, I’m strung out on antihistamines. I know you’re trying to imply something, but my brain just slides over it and lands drowsily on the other side. So:

    Say what? :D

Which of your ads are LinkWorth? Are they hard dofollow links, like TLA, or do they use javascript ala AdBrite and AdEngage?

I stopped using TLA, and am giving AdEngage a shot, but I have signed up with LinkWorth, but haven’t got anything from them yet and was curious about their ads.

Mlankton, you have options with LinkWorth. I’m using the Wordpress plug on this site, which places them in the footer of the homepage automatically. On another site, I just copy and past the HTML and stick it in the sidebars, where it’s typically do-follow. You COULD code LinkWorth HTML to no-follow, but I believe that’s against their rules…? I think I read that, but don’t have time to look it up just now.

Oh, I also have a LinkWorth link on my links page, right before the Blogroll.

There are several other options with LinkWorth - you can insert a tag into your template, and they’ll automatically serve up your ads to that spot. I really like them for those options and the fact you can tinker with your price as often as you want.

Currently, my TLA earnings are a bit ahead of LinkWorth, but LinkWorth is catching up slowly and steadily.
