SEO-Open Firefox extension

SEOpen offersa really cool Firefox extension for search engine optimization which is getting addictive for me. You just right click a page that you’re looking at, pick “SEOpen” from the list, and then it has submenus with all the info you could want. Backlinks and indexed pages in Google, Yahoo and MSN, Page Rank, WhoIs, a link to check if it’s listed in the DMOZ, html validator, and a one-click way to see the site’s robots-txt file.

It’s been a godsend for looking at potential linking partners and deciding if I want to link to them. It’s also a quick and easy way to examine my own pages.

Like all Firefox extensions, it’s simple to install. Works on both Windows and Mac.

The program does save a lot of time for search engine marketers. It would also be nice if they can add a Section 508 compliancy checker into the extension.
