Remember that Squidoo lens you forgot you made?

Go check and see if it’s become a featured page that’s now getting a handful of clicks every week. That’s what I just found out with one of my lenses. I haven’t touched it in over a year, and yet it’s getting visited. And featured. And potentially sending a dribble of traffic to the site I built it to promote.
Looks like it’s time to start updating that thing once a week. Shoot, once a month would be more than I’ve been doing.
That’s the thing about this online stuff. There is no get rich quick unless you get lucky. But if you stick with it and keep at it, you almost can’t avoid things starting to work for you.

lol,
I’d made a few pages months ago which were basically spam and happened to look at them in forever yesterday.
They earned anywhere from .02 to .15 per month for charity
I set my payments to charity so I wouldn’t feel so bad about the spam with my affiliate links. I know, strange morals.

Nah, I get that. My lens is pushing traffic to a real content site I’m actually proud of, so I suffer no guilt about the earnings. But like you said, it’s a few cents a month - it’ll be 2013 before I get my $10.
