Ping Google blog search

Here’s a good tip from the Marketing Pilgrim: ping Google’s blog search service and get your site indexed faster. Does it work? MP thinks so - and so do some posters at WebmasterWorld (click over and follow the link).
iBrian was kind enough to spell this tip out for newbies and non-techies: in your blogging software, go to where it lists the pinging services to announce each post to, and add: http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2.
