PayPerPost sending out 1099s

by Sapphire (January 12, 2007)

When I logged into PayPerPost today, it made me give my social security number and informed me that I would receive a 1099 and my earnings would be reported to the IRS. This is unusual to me, in that most of the companies I deal with only bother to report if you earn over a certain amount - $500 is the least I’ve seen.

It’s not a problem for me - I didn’t earn enough for the taxes to be considerable. But for those of you who earned a good bit with them in 2006 and live in the US, I thought I’d put out a heads-up.
