New AdWords Scheduling

I logged into my AdWords account today and found a notice advising me I could set which hours and days I want my ads running.

This is potentially awesome: if you notice all your sales tend to happen on the weekend, you could set your ads to start running Friday morning or evening through Sunday night, and see if that brings you as much converting traffic as running the ads 24/7.

I’m finding AdWords bring in enough traffic to be worth running, at least a little every month. It’s not just the actual AdWords traffic – it’s all those sites that scrape AdSense to pad their search results.

I’m enthused as well. I find that clicks that arrive during the overnight period are generally from people that provide a lower ROI.

Why shouldn’t I focus my efforts on periods of higher ROI? Answer, I should!
