July Stats
by Sapphire (August 1, 2006)
To evaluate my stats this month, I removed CrispAds because I assume from their total non-responsiveness they’re slinking off in the night with everyone’s money. This is not a big loss for me, but I’ve talked to people who are owed as much as $200. And the advertisers… those poor people actually PAID money, and who knows if they’ve gotten what they had coming to them.
My tally for the month came to a little over $200, from a combination of affiliate sales, direct ad sales, third party ad sales and PPC. This is a record-breaker for me, though I still have a long way to go. One thing that’s pleasing me: at the beginning of every month lately, I know I have about $40 coming to me because of ad sales that renew monthly. That’s enough right there to keep me in profit, even if I have to increase hosting costs a little or make new expenditures. This was my goal with the ads, anyway: for them to pay all my costs plus a little, so I could afford to do whatever needs to be done to make the affiliate sites take off.
