Is Firefox sucking?

Is it just me, or have the last few updates of FireFox sucked? I’m having extremely slow pageloads on a lot of sites, and I’m getting that old error message of doom about a script that’s screwing everything up, and you can hit “stop” or “continue” even though it doesn’t really make any difference.
It’s not on every site, but I’ve checked the slow loading sites in IE, and they’re fine. Hmm.
