Hostin’ and Postin’

I’m trying to move all my sites to the new host today. But the old host had an awesome idea: “hey, why don’t we go down and stay down and kiss the pavement while we’re down there?”

At least there’s no doubt in my mind I made the right move. I’m saving $4/month with the new host, so even if they had the same downtime, it’s an improvement. So far, though, they’re not only functioning but fast. I don’t think I’ve ever had a faster server in my life.

And fortunately, I already moved over the most critical site, so it’s fine. I just wish I could work on the rest while I have the time. But in an effort to make the best of things, I’m posting. I’ve been posting fairly regularly for a few days now. Yes, that’s pitiful; it’s also pretty good for me. Considering I usually let things like this distract me with feelings of anger and frustration. There may be hope for me yet, to lose my control freak nature and be someone who can just roll with stuff.
