Grab this Booby!

Organization is important. I use a lot of different computers, so just keeping everything in a software program on one of them doesn’t cut it - I need an online application I can keep completely private. I found Booby today: it’s a PHP script you install (rather simply) on your own website. It has:
- Link manager, with categories and subcategories (just like a directory), and also sorts by most used
- Contact manager for actual human contact info
- A newsfeed service that’s beyond easy - just select “add” and put the site’s feed url in there and BAM, you have a page with several sites’ updates right there. That’ll save me some serious time waiting for pages to load.
- Calendar: track appointments or whatever.
- StickyNotes
- Online Password storage
- ToDo List
- A webtool thingie that has some neat little tools like calculators and color pickers
No, I’m not getting paid to write copy for this thing, but I can’t help it: I’ve been looking for something just like this for a long time, so the least I can do is spread the word.
