Gee, ya think?
Today I went to one of my sites to check something. The front page looked good, so I tried to navigate to another page.
It stayed on the same page.
Oops. Six weeks ago, I found this really clever php trick to keep what I wanted on the front page, and it worked beautifully when I tested it. In fact, as I’ve now learned, it works so well that it keeps the front page in front of you no matter where you try to go.
Head… desk… owwy.
Now, to be fair, as long as a visitor stuck to the sidebar navigation, they could move around a little. That’s what I had tested when I initially started using this little trick. But I hadn’t tested other ways of navigating on the site. How could I have overlooked it?
Now I’m amazed and pleased I’ve had any sales at all. The sites are all fixed now. Does anyone have a fix for my brain?
