Firefox Browser

I’ve become a huge fan of Firefox ever since version 1.0 for Mac came out. It’s fast, it’s loaded with features, it blocks popups (and other things, if you want) and on Windows, it blocks unwanted software nasties that Explorer still doesn’t stop. I know there’s a big campaign to get the word out, but that’s not what I’m into. I’m just really impressed with this browser, and I’m not sure everyone knows what it’s capable of.

It renders sites better than any other browser I’ve tried, including Explorer, which has become so buggy in the past few years that fewer and fewer web designers bother to take the extra steps to make things work in it.

The extensions are where it gets awesome. I’ve got web developer extensions that are just killer: an HTML editor, handy links to speed reports, validators and, cache clearing, image manipulation, and all sorts of other yummies. Got a Spoofstick that reports what site I’m on to protect me from spoofers. And of course the Tabbed browsing extensions make the native tabs provided a lot spiffier with a ton of options to browse the way I like.
