Final word on Yahoo

by Sapphire (June 16, 2006)

No, seriously.

After some confusion from Yahoo over exactly whether their exclusion policy forbids keeping their ads on the same page with non-contextual ad services like AdBrite, I finally got a third answer in email.

Placing non-contextual ads, such as AdBrite, on the same page with Yahoo! contextual ads does not violate our guidelines.

So I’ve put their ads back up on this site. I’ll be interested to see how they perform. The value of each click was impressive to me. I’ll keep you posted over the long haul.

    Hello
First, I have to say I am quite impressed by your blog, and I’ve decided to vote your blog on marketingsherpa.com
Just want to let you know this event and may be it can be a topic for your blog too:

Wholesale Furniture Brokers is running a top traffic contest and will reward the site owner if he or she sends us the most traffic by the end of Aug. It is not a traditionally defined ‘affiliate marketing’. But I would take that as a variant of affiliate marketing. Thus, you may be interested and want to take a look at this contest: http://www.gowfb.com/contest

    Thanks for your time.
