Educating Sapphire

I took some time today to beef up my Bloglines subscription. I don’t keep up with some of the good reading that’s out there nearly as well as I should, and it suddenly occurred to me, why don’t I just consolidate everything on Bloglines? Gives me one site to check instead of dozens, saves me time – it’s a win-win. Except for one hitch: Blogspot (Blogger) blogs don’t offer a simple way to get their feeds, unless I’m missing something. It’s okay, though – you can find the feeds from within Bloglines’ search, and subscribe from there.

The way I found the blogs to add to the list was simple, too: I picked a few trusted bloggers and looked through their posts, digging up links to other blogs. If the other blogs seemed even halfway on topic for what interests me, I plonked it on my Bloglines account.

I’ve also been thinking further about where I want to go from here, and this educational reading is part of that. I’ll be posting more about that soon.
