Commenters who want all your time
Those of you who blog: do you ever get commenters who want to have a long, in-depth conversation/debate with you about everything you’ve said in some article? I’ve suddenly started getting these and I can’t figure out how to slow them down. Responding is taking up time I don’t have. Any suggestions?

lol..yes this is a funny topic, but the only thing is, if you want to reply to their comment they may not even respond..or go back to your site so its as though you’ve now wasted your time in that debate..lol
maybe the best thing is not to respond in the first place :-p it’s a little rude but constantly replying to bloggers takes up so much time. Maybe you could try posting a friendly message on each blog saying not to be offended of you don’t reply immediately?
I think you’re both right, there. The more I back off on responding, the less they comment, but so far no one’s taken offense as far as I can tell.
