Blue Mushrooms can send you 65 visitors? Cool!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive this recommendation on EntreCard from ChickenSoupForYourSoul:

I never really tried to guess how many new visitors this site could send you from a sidebar ad placed near the bottom, but my guess would have been less than 65. Thanks, CS4YS, for taking the time to not only let me know, but do so publicly.

Because that’s an awesome stat and testimonial to have when I’m trying to sell ads. I should start asking my advertisers that I deal with directly what sort of results they’re getting, and what their goal with advertising on my site could be. I could, like, write up the questions and have a sort of form for them to fill out. Hey, this sounds familiar – isn’t there a word for this stuff?

This time a year ago, I didn’t have any direct advertisers I could ask. Now I have less than a handful, but it’s still a place to start.
