Assuming my big commish from CJ sticks, I earned a record-shattering $379.57 last month. That’s from a combination of affiliate sales and adspace. The only PPC in there is what slots I have open with AdBrite - and really, I’m selling more and more of my AdBrite slots every month.

For September, I’ve already earned just under $70 on ads sold for the month. That income will grow by at least a few more dollars. I think I can keep at least that amount coming in via ad revenue every month, which makes a very decent base - it more than pays for my domain and hosting fees, which was my initial goal on ad revenue. It may be time to start looking at other things I could spend money on, to grow my little business here.

But what I’m most interested in is building up my affiliate sales. The ad revenue will grow on its own, but the affiliate stuff is what needs some guidance and help. I still haven’t had a chance to start building the new kind of pages I want to try out - my offline life is crazy busy lately. I’ve got some maintenance chores I want to get out of the way first, and then I can start getting creative.

Maybe. Maybe it’s more important to work on link building. Well, actually, I’m positive link building is more important: it’s just I’m not so sure how to go about it, beyond doing what I’ve been doing. In any case, I’ll get the maintenance stuff out of the way, and see how clearly I can think then.
