April 2007 earnings

by Sapphire (May 2, 2007)

This month I made about $350. Not quite a record month, but for the first three months this year I hovered around $275. My income sources were, in order of muchliness:

  1. ShareASale (nice couple of commissions there - and this is the year I want to start earning regular affiliate commissions instead of sporadic ones)
  2. AdBrite (but this is getting smaller every month - so be it. They take up tons of screen real estate)
  3. LinkWorth (yes, already performing)
  4. Selling links from my directories
  5. AdEngage (yes, already performing)

This month, I’ve already got around $275. That’s coming mostly from TLA, but LinkWorth has already brought me over $50 this month (they offer more options than TLA for selling links - I’ll be posting about them at the end of this week).

Here’s what I’m working toward right now. I want to replace TLA with LinkWorth - better prices, better options. I want to replace AdBrite with AdEngage - again, better prices, better options. I want to earn at least $50 per month in affiliate sales (that’s roughly what I earned last month). I do more than that on average, but I want to think of it as a minimum - maybe it’ll stimulate some ideas for me.

Congrats on the upswing in earnings.

I added some sites that were denied to tla to LinkWorth a few months ago, I’ve yet to have a sale.

Mark: Hmm. I’m noticing some of my sites that are huge hits with TLA aren’t attracting any attention over at LinkWorth. It’ll be interesting if there’s a trend by which they don’t seem to go over so well with the same link buyers.

    Empress, thanks! :D
