Always something else to do
I was planning to get started this morning and write lots and lots of blog posts. But no. This is my third week trapped in “But before you do that, you should really do this” land.
The affiliate code on one of my sites is messed up. If I don’t fix it, I can’t make sales. Then again, when have I ever made sales on it? I can’t decide which is more frustrating: the idea that I need to fix the code, or the idea that it really doesn’t matter either way.
I’m making some money on ad sales, but this year I’d really like to see some serious income from my affiliate sites. Since I’m no longer building thin aff sites, and have even gotten rid of some of the ones I had, that means I need to put aff ads up on my blog domains. And those blog domains need posts to get the traffic up, or no one’s going to see the aff ads.
So here’s my plan for now. I’m going to write one post a day on each of the domains that need it. Gonna do that religiously. Then I’ll spend the rest of my time cleaning up that code and taking care of some other issues. Then when those are done, I’m back to the three post goal.
Blogging is hard.

Blogging can be hard, I am going thru much of the same. I always have a huge list of things to do but there are only so many hours in the day.
I also took down some sites and I am trying to be more focused. Hard stuff. Good Luck!
Once you outline any goal, its much easier to motivate yourself to take the necessary initiatives and realize them. It’s not what you do, but how you do it and when that matters. Where you set a timeline and stick to it, this is a way to focus on your desired outcome in positive ways. More people than you might realize define their goals by stating what they don’t want to happen. When you’re specific about goals and take control of your life, you’ll savor more beenfits of being more results-oriented if you also help others realize their goals. Sharing energy works.
