AdBrite, you need to answer your phone or email
by Sapphire (March 7, 2006)
I’ve been emailing AdBrite to get them to remove the intermission ad that’s currently running on this site. There’s no way I can remove it myself. Their email system promises a response within 24 hours, but I started emailing sometime last week, so forget that. So today I’m calling their 1-800 number. That’s a joke. You get a menu, and are instructed to hold. Then it just rings (and it’s a very fast, annoying ring) forever.
I’m going to let it ring for a very long time, since it’s their bill. Unbelievable. All they need to do is give me an option to discontinue this ad myself. I can’t believe they don’t, actually.
This is the only remotely negative experience I’ve ever had with them, and they’re still my favorite ad network. But, really.

Greetings,
I couldn’t find any record of the emails you sent to us, but we do want to help you resolve this issue. Also, I apologize if you were unable to reach us by phone, but please try to contact us again at (877) 232-5200. Generally speaking, you can remove an intermisson ad in My Account -> Info and Statistics -> Regular Ads -> Stop this campaign. If the ad is a network intermission ad, there is currently no way for you to personally remove it from your account, though we are working on making that option available. In the meantime, we can pull the ad on your behalf - just send us the username of your account, and the url of the advertisement you wish to remove.
Regards,
Katie

Hi, Katie, thanks for your response. The phone line is doing a more normal type of ring today, but still no one is answering. I sent three emails, each referencing this domain - BlueMushrooms.com. You guys were always very responsive by LiveChat, so I’m not sure what’s going awry with the phone and email system, but it could be something you want to look into, as both publishers and advertisers may be having trouble reaching you.
That said, I’ve followed your instructions, and the system appears to have removed the ad. “Info and Statistics” is not a tab I’ve ever looked at before, since I get all the stats I need by looking at my earning reports. I looked under “review currently running ads” since that seemed the logical place to stop one, to me. I also looked in the FAQ and would have been able to solve my own problem, had there been instructions there.
