Blue Mushrooms began back in January 2005 as a journal of my successes and failures as I struggled to learn online marketing. I knew nothing on value at the time, so that’s largely what you got. But as the years went by, I drifted away from the site, then back again, then away again, and so on. I rebranded it, relaunched it, retooled it. I gave up.

Then in 2010, I realized I knew something now: how to get an audience, keep them and grow them. How to get beyond search engine dependence and create a core following that comments on your site and links to it from their blogs, Twitter accounts, Facebooks and StumbleUpon pages.
