The site exceeded bandwidth and went “off the air” for a couple of hours until I realized it and contacted my host and all that. It’s never gone anywhere near the current limit before, so this is either very, very good or… not so much. I mean, my traffic’s up – but not that much.

I still maintain a couple of directories. One of them has recently gotten some purchases of “Featured Links”. The way it’s set up, people submit the link as a Featured Link, then they’re directed to pay through PayPal. Some of them never bother to pay, so the link just sits there in my database “pending”.

I can’t get anything done! I don’t know how much of it’s my ISP, but I’m hearing about a lot of outages and downtime. One rumor I came across is that any domain registered to Network Solutions is going to be having trouble until 6 pm Eastern Standard time.
