I have a couple of domains that I was about to dump, but then I remembered Terry at SuperAff talking about parking domains with SEDO, and tried that instead. They turn it into a sort of search page and you get earnings from clicks.
My domains have very strange names - can’t imagine them being typos [...]

Incorporating my small business
September 17, 2007
I’ve been a bit quiet lately because I’ve been looking into incorporating. This year, about 60% of what I earned will go to state and federal governments, unless I make a contribution to one of my retirement funds to circumvent that. Which is fine for now - I don’t need this year’s profits right this [...]
August earnings
September 1, 2007
My earnings took a bit of a dive this month - from $355 in July to $291 in August. The difference was almost exactly what I made in July doing a couple of Sponsored Reviews.
The BlogHer ads are still performing well on B-2 Bomber, and I’m adding them to this blog and hopefully another one [...]
Link cloaking via subdomains works… as long as your subdomain works
August 18, 2007
I don’t know what the problem is, but this summer my subdomains keep winking out and then coming back online. It happens on more than one host: they’ll be working fine, then suddenly I get “cannot find server” errors for one subdomain or another on a site that’s otherwise working fine.
This is really hitting Project [...]
Azoogle is starting to concern me
August 14, 2007
Every month I get 600+ clicks at Azoogle.Every month I earn not one penny - never, ever have I earned a thing.Every month, I see clicks in my account on ads I would never have installed on a site. (ETA: my account manager informs me this is because international visitors are sometimes redirected to other [...]
Re-thinking my priorities
August 6, 2007
I did some assessing this weekend, and here’s what I came up with.
Project Mai Tai has some real potential. So does B-2 Bomber. So, I suspect, does this other project I’ve not even started on, but been wanting to for a while, which I’m going to call Project Sunshine. Also, I’m in talks with a [...]
Azoogle ads - still no commissions, but…
July 26, 2007
600+ clicks over four sites and I’ve yet to make a commission from Azoogle. But I think I know why, and if I’m right - it’s not bad news.
I’m currently running it on four sites: this one, ChillyCool, Project B-2 Bomber, and Project Mai Tai. I’m running mostly the exact same ads on each site. [...]
Azoogle and aff ads on my sites
July 6, 2007
I just spent a couple of days putting ads on my sites. I paid $10 for the Phplinkdirectory mods at Linkforever and installed the banner rotation one on the directory here and at ChillyCool - they were well worth the price. If you install them, be very careful following the instructions, especially for modifying the [...]
June stats
July 1, 2007
Last month was less than thrilling. I think it’s mostly because I’m trying to get away from ads and branch out into CPA and affiliate stuff more. I’m crippling what had been working for me to try new things.
But the things that were working for me were at a plateau, so I don’t regret my [...]
Link cloaking and no-follow
June 5, 2007
I just spent the morning cloaking affiliate links on my main aff site and effectively no-following the links. I used a really simple method detailed here. I hope it works.
I do want to get my affiliate sites rolling. Right now most of my income is from ads and that’s just not the only market I [...]
