I lowered the LinkWorth prices for ads on several of my sites today. It’s too bad /* doesn’t do that, because I have a couple of sites with no ads at all, and I’m convinced a lower price might bring them in. On the other hand, if LinkWorth does the trick, who cares?
In the [...]

Stuff I’ve been doing
June 28, 2007
It’s been a productive week.
I changed all my blog email subscriptions from FeedBurner to FeedBlitz (which is also provided through FeedBurner). They just look nicer, have more options for your readers, etc.
I finally sold a BlogAds ad on B-2 Bomber. I think that’s the ideal network for that site, since the site’s focus is on [...]
Is anybody else seeing all their sites plummet in Alexa?
June 24, 2007
I’ve been saying for ages that Alexa is fairly useless. In some cases, it provides some idea how you’re doing within a niche, but you can’t even trust that.
Currently, all of my sites - every single one of them - is slowly falling in Alexa rankings. Almost all of my sites are continuing their [...]
GoDaddy Complaints
June 19, 2007
I no longer have any domains registered with GoDaddy, but after Breana left a comment to an old post, detailing her woes with their hosting and domain selling, I decided to do a link roundup of all the posts in which I complained about GoDaddy, and so did several commenters. They’re still very popular, especially [...]
Haha, suckers! #2 for “Get Rich Online”
June 18, 2007
This site is now the Number 2 result on Google for the search phrase "Get Rich Online". This has brought me five - count ‘em - five whole visitors!
It’s not a phrase I ever tried to rank for, but this is interesting. I’ve never ever gotten searches for that phrase before, despite the site’s description [...]
Shameless Plug - vote for my post on Digg
June 15, 2007
I wrote a reasonably cool post on ChillyCool today, and yes, I am shamelessly asking you to Digg it.
Thank you for helping me get over my unreasonable modesty about asking for such things.
Burst Media ads flop, CrispAds already making money
June 15, 2007
If there is a way to make money with Burst Media, I just don’t know what it is. I have it running on two sites for two days, and I didn’t earn a penny. Then I changed it to rotating with other ads I could actually make money on, and I’ve made a whole penny [...]
Text link ads x 3
June 14, 2007
Someone has bought the same text link ad three times on ChillyCool. Same exact link, same anchor text. (Top left sidebar.)
Huh. *scratches head*
Goodbye AdBrite, hello… CrispAds?
June 12, 2007
I’m finally finishing out my last set of auto-renew ads on AdBrite and removing them from my site. I have nothing against AdBrite - it’s just that after a couple of years, the revenue is not increasing. What seemed like a good chunk of change when I started out now just seems like an annoyance, [...]
Domain age?
June 11, 2007
Is anybody else seeing some old domains suddenly getting traffic boosts, as BJ suggests here? Because I sure am. Since the latest Google update, I’ve seen:
A jump in traffic to some old thin affiliate sites I haven’t really touched (yes, now that I’m checking, the traffic increase started before I cloaked links last week)
Pages of [...]
