Project Mai Tai just got a new batch of visitors from Stumbleupon. I had actually thought about putting it on there myself, but forgot. Looks like two people have recommended it so far, and already it’s sent a decent amount of visitors (for the piddling traffic I have so far).
Even better, MSN Live [...]

Another 777 permissions problem
October 12, 2006
Going through my stats for this site today, I noticed I was ranking for some interesting search terms - all relating to online pharmacies and drugs for sale. I looked up one of the search terms in Google and saw that it went to a page that I never created, buried two folders down [...]
Ultimate Tag Warrior question
October 12, 2006
The support forum for the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin for Wordpress is down due to a hosting move (my sympathies), and wouldn’t you know it? I have a question, and I’m not finding the answer in the documentation. Maybe I’m just totally missing something, but:
How do you put secondary tags into a post?
I’ve got the [...]
Awesome screen capture software
October 12, 2006
I’m horrible with screen captures. I hate doing them because I find the steps complicated. I mean, doing them isn’t too difficult, but then you have to save them locally, and then you have to FTP them to a server and all that. I just find it a pain in the ass.
I [...]

Sidebar linking experiment
October 11, 2006
Project MaiTai still isn’t getting indexed by Google. MSN and Yahoo have each deigned to recognize a page or two from it, but Google’s playing hard to get. I’ve decided to give it a sidebar link from one of my well-indexed, fairly high pagerank sites, and see what that does. I have [...]

SiteSell giving stuff away free
October 9, 2006
A pal of mine was kind enough to notify me that SiteSell is giving away two ebooks for free: Make Your Site Sell and Make Your Content Presell. I haven’t had much time to glance through them yet, but I think you’ll find good solid tips on making your copywriting pop and probably a lot [...]
SERPs and new records
October 7, 2006
Project Mai Tai has a page in Yahoo! and MSN now. It has a subdomain which is still not in any of the SERPs, but is outranking the main domain on Alexa - which just proves Alexa’s on crack, because the subdomain has had 7 visitors so far this month, and not one link [...]
This week’s recap
October 6, 2006
Most of my time this week has centered on launching Project Mai Tai and getting Project B-2 Bomber to the next level.
Mai Tai has gained a new inbound since yesterday, and it’s sent a couple of visitors. Modest, I know, but it’s a PR3 blog. The link bait is starting to get nibbles, [...]
